Sales is Service.

The economic squeeze is on. With costs rising across the board, delivering outstanding service and increasing income is essential if attractions are to survive and thrive in the future. Now is the time to empower and equip your people to generate revenue, maximizing your commercial opportunities. This can, however, pose issues within your team. Often the best staff, our most passionate longest standing team members are not comfortable with “sales” or “being salesy”. Also, a freshly recruited cohort may not have the experience to transform visitor experience into sales.

This highly motivational workshop breaks down the fears and boundaries that prohibit sales. Equipping delegates with the proven strategies and practical methods to step outside of their comfort zone and convert excellent service into meaningful sales, improving both visitor satisfaction and your bottom line.

When visitors are happy, they spend. Making people happy feels good and so this course is great FUN! Because at the heart of sales is making human connections.

Hit your new and steeper income generation targets, fearlessly and joyfully by sending your team on this course.

Content includes:

  • Confidence and Teambuilding exercises.
  • Choosing your attitude.
  • Context and value – your attraction in the context of local, regional, national and international tourism.
  • Identifying your visitors and focusing on their expectations.
  • Serving visitors effectively, based on what they really want.
  • Visitor Journey mapping and Moments of Truth (as they relate to sales opportunities).
  • Language and Sales – What? Why? How?
  • Developing a personalised sales strategy.

This course compliments ‘Complete Storytelling’ and ‘Complete Experience’. It is recommended that delegates attending Complete Sales, will also have undertaken Complete Storytelling and Complete Experience. However, it is not a pre-requisite, as all courses are standalone.

Using techniques that are trained through these courses, the team at Complete Works has made a significant difference helping attractions across the country exceed challenging income targets. Projects they have led at attractions such as the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh and the National Gallery have seen increases in visitor spend by multiple hundreds of percent. Through this training, you and your team members can learn to implement the techniques that will similarly wow your visitors and impact positively on your bottom line.

ASVA Accreditation:

All delegates that complete this suit of three training courses will become certified by ASVA as a ‘Complete Customer Care’ specialist. ASVA‘s vision is to support and inspire Scottish visitor attractions to deliver outstanding experiences for each and every visitor and the ASVA brand is recognised across the tourism industry in Scotland and the UK. These courses will support the professional development of staff of their career journeys.
