We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to join our Destinations Team at The Falkirk Wheel. The purpose of this role is to provide 5 star service to all customers at the Falkirk Wheel, methodically and efficiently tending to the cleanliness and hygiene of our destination. In turn ensuring our customers have a memorable experience during their visit, and integral in the cleanliness of the Visitor Centre, New Port Downie building, event rooms and surrounding areas to ensure visitors would like to return.
The role is offered on a fixed-term basis until the end of October, and with a salary of £24,294 (Band A) plus 11.25% Variable Hours allowance. Working hours 35 hours per week, on a variable shift pattern (day time only).

Primary responsibilities of the role:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas, inclusive of outdoor units
Adhere to health & safety guidelines and company policies
Assist with stock deliveries and storage
Work within required rota patterns, being flexible as required
Provide local tourist information to customers and assist with enquiries, if unsure always ask to find out
Assist with all the teams as required
Set up and breakdown of meeting spaces
Qualifications and knowledge required:
Tourism industry knowledge preferred though not critical
Knowledge of COSSH and H&S
Skills and experience required:
Previous experience in similar role
Excellent time keeping
Experience in working in a team
Qualities & abilities required:
Ability to think on your own and be adaptable
Attention to detail
