Dovecot Studios is recruiting casual staff to provide support to the Front of House and Events teams, acting as the first point of contact for customers and visitors. We are looking for people who can work flexibly, with usual hours being between 9am-6pm Monday-Saturday. Dovecot Studios is open to the public on Sundays throughout August as well as being open for events and private hire in the evening.

The post holder will be responsible for providing customer service, and high quality support to the Commercial and Events teams, on events and hospitality, commercial activities and building and facilities management. The role will include invigilating exhibitions, selling tickets, working in the retail outlet, working at events and ensuring the building is presentable and accessible for visitors at all times.

Dovecot Studios is a landmark centre for contemporary art, craft and design built around the international Dovecot Tapestry Studio. Housed in a converted Victorian baths building in the heart of Edinburgh, Dovecot programmes, commissions and produces exhibitions and events for audiences and clients who share a passion for making and the creative arts.

Experience working in an arts venue is desirable but not essential.
