Join the Fruitmarket team!

We’re looking for part-time waiting staff to join our team. Excellent benefits await the right candidate who will be naturally friendly, attentive and reliable. Largely daytime hours across seven days per week with limited evening availability required. The role would suit someone with table-service experience looking to work 1-2 days per week and occasionally more.

Fruitmarket’s café is popular with our exhibition audiences and with busy commuters, local residents, and tourists. Our core gallery opening hours are at present 9am–6pm. We run frequent private and public events in the evening and at night.

Person specification:
Friendly, approachable personality and positive attitude
Customer-oriented approach
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work flexibly and cooperatively as part of a team
Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
Good timekeeping
Previous waiting experience required
Coffee training would be an advantage
