Location: The Glenturret Distillery. Perthshire.

We are looking for an experienced Host/Hostess to join our new and exciting team at The Glenturret Distillery. Someone dedicated to fine dining, is able to run a section, have overall control of the intimate ambience, managing and maintaining this to the highest level of detail. The Front of House will work closely with the chef Mark Donald and his kitchen team. Their use of the best ingredients, sublime flavour combinations, and outstanding technical skills will be matched in the Front of House operation.
The Restaurant itself is a beautiful uniquely designed space with bespoke Lalique tableware and stemware.
Your duties will include:
Delivering a warm and memorable welcome for all our guests. Having an excellent knowledge of the Restaurant and Glenturret Distillery. Maintaining the highest standard of service and room preparation. Playing a significant part in making sure the Afternoon Tea, Bar Lunch, and Dinner operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will take a keen interest in the operation and help develop guest experiences, building a rapport with regular guests. Be able to support guests during the booking process and assist with travel and accommodation requirements. Having an extensive knowledge of the menus and preparation of dishes.
The kind of person we are looking for:

Having experience within a 5* hospitality environment would be beneficial, however, having a great attitude would be essential. Your perspective and approach will be initiative forward thinking. You must have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and willingness to exceed guest expectations. Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. You are highly motivated and possess an immense sense of pride in your work. Be a strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach to life.

The position is a combination of daytime and evening work with some weekend work included. The contracted hours are 35 per week. £8.91 + tips.
