Thank you for your interest in the post of steward with Historic Environment Scotland. We have roles available at various sites across Orkney. This is a fixed term and pensionable appointment with various working patterns and hours available.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of visitor experience across sites in the Orkney district, working across all areas, including in the shop, admissions area and outside within some of our fantastic monuments, with delivery of guided tours a core part of the role.

The various roles available across Orkney sites, include Skara Brae, Bishops and Earls Palaces and Broch of Gurness.
