JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our visitor services team at The Weaver’s Cottage. This is an exciting opportunity within the heritage industry. The Weavers Cottage vividly re-creates the living and working conditions of a typical handloom weaver. With low ceiling beams and period furniture, it helps give an insight into life before the Industrial Revolution. You should be passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and tours to our visitors and guests and able to maximise opportunities to generate income. It’s important that Visitor Service Assistants (VSAs) ensure the property and its assets are safe and secure. Furthermore, we’re looking for team workers who are also able to use their own initiative and are driven to make a difference. Our ideal candidate will be a keen storyteller able to conduct engaging tours for local and international visitors.
