We’re looking for visitor services assistants who are able to start with us immediately, or might be available to join us later in the spring. The seasonal contract will guarantee a minimum of two days (16 hours) work each week, with opportunity for additional hours, up to a total of five days, depending on demand. This will include working at weekends. Typically you might work Saturday and Sunday, but during Easter and Summer holidays work additional hours, perhaps working full time. This might suit someone in higher education, however other patterns of work may also be considered. A typical working day is from 9am to 5pm. The temporary positions run to the end of August, although there might be opportunity to extend the duration of some posts at that time. The rate of pay is £10.42 for those aged 23 and over, or £10.18 for those aged 18 – 22. The role may involve service as train guard, consequently we cannot accept applications from anyone aged under 18 years old.
