Stephen Preston, Deputy Head of Heritage and Culture at St Giles’ Cathedral
Stephen has been at St Giles’ for ten years, progressing from a tour guide to his current role. Working within a small team, he tackles the daily challenges posed by the 900-year-old building—ranging from blockbuster film shoots to accommodating giant inflatable moons. However, his primary focus remains preserving and sharing the rich history of St Giles’. To achieve this, Stephen actively explores technological solutions that can equip St Giles’ for the next 900 years.
